In 2018, the UT Institute of Agriculture publicly launched Together We Grow, a campaign for Tennessee. This meant a unique branding and storytelling opportunity was born. The $175 million ten-year campaign closed in 2022 with $223 million raised.
Together We Grow Teaching.
Both the Herbert College of Agriculture and the College of Veterinary Medicine are dedicated to preparing tomorrow’s leaders and educating tomorrow’s researchers and professionals. Jerri Marr’s connection to UT began through 4-H and has never stopped.
Together We Grow Research.
The UT Institute of Agriculture's research is focused on real life solutions. It’s not just a brand promise. Our research directly impacts communities. We are looking for ways to bridge disciplines and look at problems from new perspectives. The work of associate professor Dr. Brynn Voy is a perfect example of our one health perspective.

UT Extension's AgrAbility program has a unique mission to support farmers with disabilities. If you have a desire to farm, AgrAbility is dedicated to your success. But there is one group that many are calling the future of agriculture. That is our veteran farmers. These are individuals who have served America on the battlefield and are continuing to serve on a different type of field. Meet two farmers from East Tennessee who are rolling up their sleeves to feed their community.
